Methodology for monitoring progress towards the global nutrition targets for 2025
UNICEF in collaboration with WHO on the global monitoring and reporting on nutrition indicators, established the Technical Expert Advisory Group on Nutrition Monitoring (TEAM) to advise on improving nutrition monitoring at all levels. In June 2017, the TEAM provided their recommendations to UNICEF and WHO on technical issues concerning the monitoring country progress towards the six nutrition targets for 2025 endorsed at the World Health Assembly in 2012. This technical report summarizes the main issues presented to the TEAM on improvements in defining tracking approaches and rules, and conclusions.
