Fulfilling the commitment to child protection in Thailand

Drawing on the Multiple Indicator Cluster Survey (MICS) and other robust national data sources, this publication presents the latest data on key child protection issues in Thailand. The findings offer a clear, evidence-based roadmap for decision makers to safeguard the rights of children. It highlights positive milestones such as near-universal birth registration while also shedding light on persistent and new challenges such as statelessness, violence and the safety concerns that emerge with increased Internet use among children. The report is a call to action for all stakeholders in the country to join hands in fulfilling a shared commitment to child protection.
