The experience of these last ten years offers ample evidence of what works and has provided tools that can help us achieve the MDGs by 2015.” Since 2005, UNICEF has collaborated with the UN Statistics Division in monitoring progress. UNICEF’s Data and Analytics (D&A) Section has provided most of the data, as well as the regional and global analysis for MDG 1 (hunger), MDG 4 (child survival), MDG 5 (maternal health), MDG 6 (HIV/AIDS and malaria) and MDG 7 (water and sanitation).
